Q: Do I need to take the SAT, ACT, MAT or GMAT?
A: UMUC does not require that you submit official test scores. See all admission requirements.

Q: Can I transfer my credits?
A: UMUC accepts up to 90 credits from a four-year university or 70 credits from a two-year community or technical college. Learn about the transfer credit process.

Q: What are UMUC's tuition rates?
A: Tuition and fees vary per credit and per program, depending upon whether a student resides inside or outside the state of Maryland. View a detailed breakdown of tuition and fees.

Q: Does UMUC have a payment plan?
A. Yes. If you qualify, you may be able to manage your payments with our interest-free, monthly payment plan.

Q: When can I start?
A: Classes are enrolling now. While there are three semesters per year (fall, spring and summer) each semester has multiple sessions and start dates from which to choose. Select the start date that's most convenient for you.

Q: I am currently in the military. Can I get credit for my military experience?
A: Yes. Through UMUC's Prior Learning program, you may be able to earn up to 30 credits for experience gained from military service, work, or community and volunteer activities. Plus, you may also transfer credit from your military education, training and experience from one of many military college partners.
