UMUC 60th Anniversary Black-tie Gala

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make UMUC's 60th Anniversary Black-tie Gala on February 9, 2008 a huge success. Honored guest General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.) gave a compelling keynote speech in front of a sold-out audience, including President Susan C. Aldridge, generous donors, and esteemed members of the UMUC community.

During this event, UMUC was proud to announce a special fundraising effort, the Capital Campaign: Building a Legacy of Educational Opportunities. This seven-year initiative was created to raise funds that will help to provide educational opportunties to those in need.
