Become a Member and Make a Difference
The Blue and Gold Society is a chance for alumni and friends of University of Maryland University College to ensure academic success and opportunity for current and future UMUC students.
By donating $100 or more to the UMUC Annual Fund, you will help the university extend their support to even more students. You can even designate which scholarship your donation will support. Your generosity will be rewarded with several member benefits, in addition to knowing you have helped students achieve educational success.
Choose How You Help
All contributions will strengthen the university as a whole. However, you can choose to designate your gift to one of UMUC’s many scholarships and initiatives. You may choose to support scholarships like:
- Better Opportunities Through Online Education
- Community College Transfer Scholarship
- Graduate School of Management and Technology Scholarship Fund
- Military Textbooks Endowment Fund
- Military Veterans Endowed Scholarship Fund
- School of Undergraduate Studies Scholarship
- Working Family Scholarship Fund
- Arts Program

Join the Blue and Gold Society
To join, easily sign up online by following these steps:
1. Visit UMUC's Online Giving Web page.
2. Use the "Select Fund" drop down menu and choose "Other fund."
3. Type 'Blue and Gold Society' in the "Specify Other" box below.
4. Continue to fill out the donation form with your information.
