2007/2008 Faculty/Staff Campaign
Dear Member of the UMUC Family,
The 2007–2008 Faculty/Staff Campaign is already underway. This year’s theme, Our Students, Our
Mission—We Give Because We Care, reflects the commitment we all share to make this university a
better place to work and pursue an education.
The Faculty/Staff Campaign offers you the opportunity to show your support for the university’s mission
of providing a quality education to adult students focused on reaching their personal and professional
goals. Your participation in this campaign is important to strengthening our university. A strong foundation
of giving demonstrates to businesses, foundations, and friends that those closest to UMUC support
it financially and professionally. Therefore, I encourage you to participate.
The Faculty/Staff Campaign is part of the university’s annual giving program. The money raised through this campaign will be used for scholarships and other academic programs for students, academic research and initiatives, and campus developments and online technology. Our goals for the campaign this year are 100 percent participation from all employees and $150,000 in contributions.
