You can help give back to the men and women who have already given so much by making a generous contribution to one or more of
the funds listed below. Scholarship awards are made available to UMUC undergraduate and graduate students on
the basis of academic performance and/or financial need.

Military Textbook Endowed Scholarship Fund
Supports UMUC’s military students around the world by providing financial assistance to purchase textbooks. Preference will be given to students currently serving in Afghanistan or Iraq.
Military Veterans Endowed Scholarship Fund
Financially supports UMUC’s military veterans, their spouses, and dependents by providing scholarships to take classes at UMUC.
Asian Division Endowed Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarship support for UMUC students, including active-duty servicemembers, exclusively from UMUC’s Asian Division.
European Division Endowed Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarship support for UMUC students, including active-duty servicemembers, exclusively from UMUC’s European Division.
Ed and Jean Miller Answering the Call Award
Provides funds exclusively to UMUC students who have served as part of the United States armed forces in a war zone in the past 24 months of the award, or are currently serving in a war zone, or to family members of soldiers who lost their lives in combat.
Blewitt Endowed Military Scholarship
Provides scholarship support for UMUC students who are single parents and remain on active duty while receiving support. Demonstrated financial need is required, and enlisted personnel take priority over officers.
HSBC-North America Military Family Scholarship
Provides funds to UMUC students who are active-duty military or spouses of active-duty military servicemembers
whose military tuition assistance benefits are exhausted. Demonstrated financial need is required.
Military Student Support Fund Scholarship
Provides scholarship support for UMUC students with demonstrated financial need who are on active duty.
Rosenberg Armed Forces Education Fund Scholarship
Provides scholarship support for UMUC students who are on active duty or the spouses of active-duty servicemembers. Demonstrated financial need required.
Severely Injured Servicemember, Spouse, or Dependents Scholarship
Provides scholarship support for UMUC students with demonstrated financial need, who are active-duty or veteran military servicemembers who are severely injured, or the spouse or dependents of a severely injured servicemember.
Vietnam Veterans Memorial Scholarship
Provides scholarship support to the child of a Vietnam-era veteran, or the spouse of such a child currently on activeduty military service.
