Biotechnology student Leslie Sussan received the 2011 Student Recognition Award by National University Technology Network (NUTN), an organization that promotes networking and professional development.

The 2009 UCEA Award for Outstanding Continuing Education Student in a Degree program was awarded to biotechnology student Luis Ascanio.
