Graduation Ceremonies
All cohort participants who pass the four required courses with a grade of C or better are invited to attend a graduation ceremony. The president of UMUC, the commissioner, the mayor of Baltimore and other political, academic and law-enforcement leaders attend the ceremony. The formal graduation ceremony is followed by a reception to which family and friends are invited. Letters of completion are mailed to graduates several weeks after the ceremony.
