Advisory Board

Business & Executive Programs’ Advisory Board members serve voluntarily for a term of two years. A few have served multiple terms and we welcome their continuing contributions. Board members represent private and public sector organizations, many of which employ our current students and alumni and include representatives from the following:

  • Ernst & Young
  • Pepco Holdings, Inc.
  • Abacus Technology
  • Kinetic Ventures
  • HealthSouth
  • EDS
  • National Defense University
  • George Washington University
  • U. S. Postal Service
  • Lockheed Martin Corporation
  • HMSHost
  • Intelligent Automation, Inc.
  • Global  Exchange Services

The Advisory Board meets three times each year with Business & Executive Programs’ leadership to discuss how the programs’ goals can best support employer needs and expectations. In support of those goals, topics discussed include program currency, relevance, content, delivery formats, and instructional methods.  New program offerings, often still in the development stage, are introduced to Board members and their feedback solicited.

We find that our Advisory Board members provide invaluable input and contribute significantly to our programs’ success, keeping us in touch with the needs of employers in today’s rapidly changing workplace.
