UMUC’s undergraduate degree in Global Business and Public Policy lays the analytical groundwork necessary to understand international affairs, institutions, economic systems, and politics. You’ll emerge prepared to excel in a career in virtually any economic sector—from international to local to nonprofit—with your degree in this challenging, fascinating area.

The Global Business and Public Policy program is designed to increase leadership opportunities for future international policy leaders in both the public and nonprofit sectors. This goal is achieved by providing participants with the tools of critical thinking, speaking, writing, and quantitative reasoning, along with the skills and experiences necessary to create, analyze, implement, evaluate, and affect policy in a multicultural, multiethnic society. By encouraging a diverse cadre of leaders who are culturally aware and socially sensitive to consider careers in public service, the leadership capacity of government and nonprofit organizations throughout the world is strengthened.
