Employers: Increase Your Visibility

The key to successful recruiting is developing and maintaining a strong campus presence and reputation among students. UMUC’s Office of Career Services can help you get noticed, including:

  • Hosting a Workshop - Work with one of our Career Services professionals to coordinate and sponsor a career development workshop. You and your company would be a part of educating students on topics like interviewing skills, networking skills, job search strategies, etc. These workshops can be done in a classroom setting or virtually.
  • On-campus or Phone Interview Schedule Day - Work with one of our Career Services professionals to arrange either an on-campus interview day or a phone interview schedule.

  • Hosting an Information Session - Deliver a presentation to students either in person or virtually to inform students about your company and the opportunities it has to offer.
  • Job Fairs - Participate in our face-to-face job fairs and virtual job fairs.

  • Corporate Sponsorship Program - Target your recruiting and support the activities of the UMUC Office of Career Services by becoming a corporate sponsor. For more information, call Katie Nailler at 301-985-7412 or visit our Corporate Sponsorship page.

  • Company Marketing File - Mail us marketing material and we will start a file on your company for students to review when they visit our center.
