  FACULTY gain updated insights on contemporary issues, systems and trends in their academic field as they interact with students and various employers. Co-op enables faculty to 'test' the curriculum by comparing notes with others in the professional community. Many professors who participate as mentors for the Co-op Program report that it makes them better teachers, as they are able to learn more about their students' goals, learning styles, and achievements beyond the typical classroom.
