About the Entrepreneur Development Center
Mission Statement
The mission of the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) Entrepreneur Development Center is to provide business leaders a high-quality classroom learning experience as well as an opportunity to network with other business owners in their field. The program is designed to help them continue their career growth and successful business management.
Who Should Attend
If you own or operate a privately held business and you are ready to make improvements that will add to your success, then the EDC program is designed specifically for you. Through a series of interactive sessions, our expert speakers will work with you to improve your management and leadership skills in an effort to enhance the performance and value of your business. Sessions will focus on planning and growth strategies, leadership development, creation and protection of value, and exit planning.
This program caters to entrepreneurs striving for excellence who are actively involved in the ownership and operation of established businesses.
