Rick Kohr

Rick Kohr is a founding member and President of Evergreen Capital LLC. He has more than 25 years of experience in advising early stage growth and middle market, closely-held companies. He advises clients on various exit strategies as well as financing alternatives that can increase shareholder value. These strategies and alternatives include merger, sale, ESOP, acquisition, and expansion plans.

Kohr is also a managing member of the Chesapeake Emerging Opportunities Club, an early stage venture capital fund, and is a member of the New Vantage Network, a group of Washington, D.C., area dinner clubs. He serves on the Board of Directors for Van Sant Plumbing & Heating, Butler Capital Corporation, Acuity Mobile, Inc., MetaSource, Hi-Tech Fasteners Inc., and Towson Global Incubator, and held past Board of Directors positions with e.magination network LLC, Platform Logic Inc., and Maryland Development Technology Center (MDTC). He is also involved with area incubators and other business development initiatives.

Kohr is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Chief Executive Officers Club of Baltimore. He is a graduate of Loyola College in Maryland with an MBA in Finance and Marketing and a BA in Accounting. He holds his Series 65 License, 63 Uniform Securities Agent License, and his Series 7 General Securities Representative License.
