Heloisa began working at the Graduate School in July 2001. Heloisa brings a wealth of experience in the areas of graphic design andmultimedia to to GSMT's ITS department as well as to SUS.

Heloisa was born, raised, and educated in Brazil. She alsospent four years studying in England before returning to Brazil. Heloisa holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Industrial Design and Computer Graphics, respectively. Prior to coming to UMUC, Towanda worked at University of Maryland College Park for 16 years supporting faculty, students, and staff in the areas of computer technology, graphic and web design, and technical support and training.

In August 2001, Towanda earned a B.S. degree in Information Systems Management (IFSM) from UMUC, and she has continued to expand her knowledge, experience, and professional development by learning various multimedia technologies such as Flash, video editing, and Apple iLife applications. Laddie Odom began his professional career over two decades ago in Detroit as an animator and special effects artist for regional and national television commercial campaigns.

Susan began her career at UMUC in 1998 as a digital communication specialist in the Center for the Virtual University. She later spent a few years in the Center for Media & New Technology prior to joining the Center for Support of Instruction in 2007.

Deb Schroeder has been with UMUC for over twenty years. She spent four years in Undergraduate Admissions prior to moving to the Graduate School. While working in General Management Programs, Deb became fascinated with technology and pursued an education in computer science. Sa Sun joined the Center for Support of Instruction as an instructional support specialist in December 2010. She holds an MA in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Iowa. Before coming to UMUC, Sa worked as an instructional designer for the University of Iowa Center for Credit Programs, University of Illinois Springfield Online, and Boston University Online.
