About UMUC's Cybersecurity Programs

From the new Cyber Command to private industry, there is tremendous demand for cybersecurity experts. In response to this urgent need, UMUC—building on its nationally recognized expertise in information assurance—now offers a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, a Master of Science in Cybersecurity, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Policy. Three new graduate certificates*—Foundations of Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, and Cybersecurity Technology—were also added this spring. Courses are designed to take students beyond theory and policies, so they can develop the leadership skills and technical competencies critical for coordinating and planning today’s complex security operations.
