The University of Maryland University College (UMUC) and President Susan C. Aldridge, PhD, hosted An Evening in Cyberspace, Saturday, April 2, 2011, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center.

The black-tie gala brought together business leaders, scholars, government officials, researchers, and practitioners to celebrate UMUC's new cybersecurity programs, and helped to fund much-needed scholarships for students entering these programs. The event featured a reception, dinner, keynote speech and entertainment.
