Dr. Steve Knode is a collegiate professor of the Graduate School. He specializes in instruction in emerging technologies, decision support systems, and artificial intelligence. Previously, Dr. Knode taught at Marymount University and at the National Defense University’s Information Resources Management College (IRMC). At the IRMC his main projects included the development of a Decision Room and a Virtual Reality Laboratory. Dr. Knode does research and has presented papers in the area of applied artificial intelligence, especially the use of Intelligent Agent technology. Dr. Knode is a member of AAAI, ASCUE, INFORMS, and AAII. Steve obtained his PhD at Syracuse University in the area of operations research management and also possesses an MS in industrial management from the University of North Dakota as well as BS in mathematics from Duke University.
