Brief Statement About Instructor

Dr. Monica S. Bolesta has spent the last several years teaching undergraduate, graduate, and professional students the skills necessary to succeed in a teaching/research position. She has served as the program director for the MBA Fundamentals course at UMUC for the last five years. In 2003 she won the Stanley J. Drazek Teacher of the Year Award and the MBA Excellence Award for University of Maryland University College. Her educational background and prior experience within the biomedical/pharmaceutical research area using advanced principles within global environments, organizational processes, IT management, experimental design, measurement, statistical analysis, and survey methodology provide her with the necessary skills to integrate real world experience within a teaching framework.
