Brief Statement About Instructor
After a brief career in the Navy and prior to UMUC, Dr. Blank helped managers in the telecommunications and nuclear power industries build their interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills. He is a behaviorist who demonstrated that Herzberg, and B.F. Skinner’s theories work in business - he reduced turnover 80% and increased productivity 30% in his organization. Dr. Blank is a telecommuting pioneer – in addition to writing about the technology he was able to show its efficacy by raising his personal productively by about 60%.
