After practicing corporate law, professor O'Callaghan embarked on a career in higher education administration. She has 15 years of experience as a senior administrator for a major research university, having worked in both the law school and the business school. Her business school experience includes six years as director of a distance learning MBA program for executives. She has delivered group study programs for executive students in New York, Washington, London, Florence, Dublin and Shanghai, and Bermuda. She has presented on distance learning topics at two AACSB national conferences.
