Brief Statement About Instructor

Yitshak Merin is a senior software consultant for BMC Software, a global company based in Houston, Texas. Yitshak is a native of Israel. Since 1999 Yitshak lives with his wife and four children in Rockville, Maryland. Yitshak has 20 years of experience as a software engineer. He has worked on compilers, Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools, systems programming and security products. Yitshak works in the identity management business unit of BMC Software. These products are developed in Israel and his job is to interface between the development organization and the field in North America. Yitshak trains BMC employees and customers on the use of BMC security management software, edits a monthly professional newsletter, develops white papers and gives conference presentations.

Prior to joining BMC Yitshak worked for 5 years each at the Israeli subsidiary of Hewlett Packard as a senior Response Center Engineer and at Motorola Semiconductor Israel as a software engineer in the CAD department.
