UMUC Training

Understanding and Working with Students with Disabilities
April 19– 23, 2004

This online workshop, offered by the Center for Teaching and Learning for UMUC faculty and staff only, will familiarize faculty with the disability laws with which UMUC must comply and provide information on various types of disabilities as well as the appropriate accommodations and support services for those disabilities. Training in Maryland

Maryland Technology Access Program (MDTAP) is offering in-person training on different aspects of assistive technology through the first half of 2004. The workshops are free, open to all, and excellently presented. For information and registration, please consult the MDTAP Training Calendar.

EASI Workshops

Equal Access to Software and Information (EASI), directed by Dr. Norman Coombs, is offering a series of online workshops on the theme of “Designing Accessible Course Content Using Familiar Software.” Course registration is $350 with a 20 percent discount for students and participants from overseas.
