This one-day seminar gave participants an in-depth background on the copyright legal framework and the role of fair use in the copyright regime. The seminar focused on recent legislative acts—such as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and the Uniform Computers Information Transactions Act—and how they affect the fair use doctrine and higher education.
