Dale R. Collins
Dale Collins (Ph.D., Maxwell School, Syracuse University) began teaching for UMUC in September 1982 and has taught classes in labor management relations or human resources management every term. Dale is currently the Director of Human Resources and Security at the Defense Contract Audit Agency within the Department of Defense.
Dale has taught for 30 years and his teaching philosophy focuses on ways to facilitate learning. He believes learning is facilitated when the student participates responsibly in the learning process. Dale values the real life experiences he brings to the classroom and feels the
combination of educational and professional experiences make him an effective teacher. His students say, "The faculty member's teaching style was very motivational and intellectually challenging
