CTLA 201 Wins Prestigious Sloan-C Excellence in Faculty Development for Online Teaching Award

Faculty Development Workshops

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is pleased to offer a wide selection of workshops for faculty throughout the year. Faculty can also earn Basic and Advanced Certificates in the Workshop Certificate Program to enhance their teaching skills and expertise.

Online Workshops

Workshops are free and open to all UMUC faculty. Face-to-Face Workshops are offered from time to time in Adelphi.

New CTL Certificate Programs

CTL offers Basic and Advanced Certificates in the Workshop Certificate Program for faculty to enhance their teaching skills and expertise.

Mini-Workshops and Events on Adobe Connect Software Platform

CTL sponsors synchronous, real-time mini-workshops and events using Adobe Connect software.

Sloan-C Online Workshops

The College Pass Membership entitles UMUC faculty and academic administrators to participate without charge in online workshops sponsored by Sloan-C.

UMUC Faculty Forum Series

CTL and the Faculty Advisory Council co-sponsor fora on important issues for the UMUC community.

SkillSoft Self-Paced Training

CTL and SkillSoft offer self-paced training in technical and business skills for interested UMUC faculty.
