| Steve Knode Presentation
Steve Knode is the chief
technical officer of BotKnowledge, Inc. His presentation, given
in full here as a videostreamed lecture, describes the emergence
of intelligent agents as a learning technology. He explains the
particular needs they serve and their adaptability to key tasks
in learning and education. He profiles key types of agent and shows
how they work. Lastly, he comments on industry trends and the developing
market for intelligent agents in customer relations management.
A highlight of Knode's presentation is his interaction with Sylvie,
an online verbot program which he has developed extensively. Those

Knode's presentation is introduced by Dr. Theodore Stone, Director

Knode
Dr. Steve Knode is a retired United States Air Force officer now
engaged in an academic teaching and research career. He has an extensive
background in the areas of decision making, decision support systems,
artificial intelligence and intelligent agents. Since his retirement
from the USAF, Dr. Knode has been engaged in teaching, research,
and developing courses and applications in the areas of applied
Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Agents. He is the Chief
Technical Officer of Botknowledge, Inc.,
a company dedicated to development and deployment of Intelligent
Agent technology in the educational environment. |
