The
First-Year Assessment Listserv (FYA-LIST)
Sponsored by the University of South Carolina's National Resource Center on the First-Year
Experience and Students in Transition. This list is designed to promote nationwide dialog
among college and university faculty and academic and student affairs administrators on
methods and tools for evaluation first-year programs, policies, and procedures. It is
intended to help gather and share information on best practices and procedures for
assessing the first college year.

The Adult Education Network (AEDNET) is an international discussion group, operated via
listserv, that enables researchers, practitioners, and graduate students in adult and
continuing education to share information and discuss topics of mutual interest. In
addition, New Horizons in Adult Education, a refereed electronic journal, is distributed

"The AAHE Assessment Forum is the primary national network connecting and supporting
higher education stakeholders involved in assessment. It promotes thoughtful, effective

Assessment and Evaluation
The Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) Clearinghouse on Assessment and
Evaluation is a project of the National Library of Education, US Department of Education
directed by the Department of Measurement, Statistics, and Evaluation at the University of
Maryland in College Park. You will find annotated links to the best sites on the internet
that address educational assessment, evaluation, and research. Included are 18 educational
measurement or methodology listserv links.
