"This trip was by far the most rewarding experience of my academic career."

-UMUC MBA Student

On April 15, 2007 twelve students from UMUC's Graduate School of Management & Technology completed a two-week study tour to China, visiting both Shanghai and Beijing.

The trip, led by Professors Robert Goodwin and Charles Newman, involved students from two MBA programs - four from the Global MBA program and eight from the Graduate School's regular MBA program.

While other universities send their students to foreign countries, the UMUC program is unique because it allows students to gain hands-on experience by having them work on specific consulting assignments for companies in China.
