Over the semester, three teams consisting of four students each were assigned to address a significant business issue identified by one of the participating companies: a Chinese TV manufacturer, a Shanghai-based IT outsourcing company, and the Chinese subsidiary of Textron.  During the semester the students researched the issues and communicated with the companies by telephone and e-mail.

Near the end of the semester the students left for Shanghai for the opportunity to present their results directly to the companies via PowerPoint presentations.  As with the entire trip, this aspect of the learning experience was an unqualified success with each of the companies complimenting the MBA teams on the sophistication and usefulness of the information and analysis that they provided.

Extensive written reports will be provided to the companies after the students have the opportunity to include comments received at the presentations.
