Parking

College Park

PLEASE NOTE: Parking permits will no longer be mailed automatically to faculty members teaching face-to-face classes on the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP) campus.

If you need a parking permit for a faculty restricted lot, submit an application to Faculty Services and Communications. Please be sure to sign the application form by hand prior to mailing.

Faculty Services and Communications handles parking permits for UMUC faculty members teaching at the Adelphi or University of Maryland, College Park campus. If you need additional information, please send an e-mail to ofstier2@umuc.edu or call 240-684-2605 during business hours.

Adelphi

If you are teaching at the SFSC or the ICC, you may park in the UMUC garage on levels 2, 4, or 5. Your permit will be available for pickup at the SFSC Information Desk on the first day of class. Permits are provided for faculty members only.

Regional Sites

Special parking requirements may exist at locations other than College Park. Military installations frequently have firm regulations. You should receive parking information for regional sites before your class begins. Contact Regional Programs at 301-985-7717 for information.

Parking Tickets

You are responsible for any parking tickets you receive. However, if you receive a parking violation on the College Park campus while waiting for a parking permit, or for other circumstances you think may be justifiably contested, fill in the box on the reverse side of the ticket under the heading "All Ticket Recipients Complete the Following." Attach a brief written explanation and forward it and the violation notice to the address in the ticket.
