UMUC Faculty Forum Discussion Series

The Faculty Advisory Council (FAC) and Faculty Development sponsor the UMUC Faculty Forum Discussions. The UMUC Faculty Forum Discussions are delivered online via WebTycho. The discussions are free and open to all UMUC faculty members.

Faculty members will receive an e-mail confirmation for their registration no later than one week prior to each discussion. Those who register for the faculty discussions will also receive information on how to log on and how to access the discussions. Redesigned Undergraduate Courses and Eight-Week Terms

In the fall semester of 2011, the Undergraduate School launched newly redesigned courses and programs in an eight-week format as the culmination of the SEGUE course redesign process. Learn more about SEGUE on the intranet.

Your Faculty Advisory Council (FAC) would like to take this opportunity to host a faculty forum to allow colleagues to exchange views on their experiences with the new format. Faculty members’ thoughts and suggestions are sought about topics such as student performance, faculty time commitment, authentic assessment, curriculum change, and more.
