University of Maryland University College (UMUC) offers the following scholarship programs for active-duty military or spouses of active-duty military.
Some scholarship awards are made on the basis of academic performance and others on the basis of financial need. The eligibility requirements for each of the scholarships are listed below. All scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate students at UMUC.

Unless otherwise stated, the minimum enrollment requirement during the award period is 3 credits. UMUC scholarships are generally awarded for the fall and/or spring semesters only.
If you receive a scholarship you must complete 100 percent of your coursework during each enrollment period. If you receive an award for the academic year (fall and spring) but do not complete 100 percent of the coursework during the fall semester, your award will be automatically canceled for the spring semester. You may reapply for award consideration for the next academic year.

- Blewitt Endowed Military Scholarship
- Active duty single parents
- Includes Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard & members of the Reserves who are and remain on active duty while receiveing scholarship support
- Demonstrated financial need
- Enlisted personel will take priority over officers.
- HSBC-North America Military Family Scholarship
- Completion of 6 credits at UMUC
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 at UMUC
- Active-duty military or spouse of active-duty military
- Tuition assistance exhausted
- Demonstrated financial need
- Military Student Support Fund Scholarship
- Active-duty military service member
- Completion of 6 credits at UMUC
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 at UMUC
- Demonstrated financial need
- Rosenberg Armed Forces Education Fund Scholarship
- Active-duty service member or spouse of active-duty service member
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Demonstrated financial need
- Severely Injured Service Member, Spouse, or Dependents Scholarship
- Active-duty or veteran military service member who is severely injured, or the spouse or dependents of a severely injured service member
- Content and quality of the application essay
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 at UMUC (for continuing students)
- Demonstrated financial need
- Vietnam Veterans Memorial Scholarship
- Child of a Vietnam-era veteran, or the spouse of such a child currently on active-duty military service
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
