Code Orange Terrorism Alert

The following actions will be implemented in the event that the Federal Homeland Security Advisory System is set at “High Condition (Orange)”

• Should there be a serious cause for concern, an announcement will be made over the public address systems in the Inn and Conference Center and the Student and Faculty Services Center.
  
• Security personnel level will be increased by one officer per shift, which will enable extended patrolling and monitoring of access to Drazek Circle, the loading docks, and the perimeter of the Adelphi campus.
  
• Access to the ICC loading docks will be restricted. A call box has been installed at the gate for access requests.
  
• Delivery access to the buildings will be restricted by implementing designated times for all deliveries to the campus.
  
• Employees with concerns should contact their supervisors to discuss possible alternatives
