Read below to learn more about the exciting changes that are coming to the Master of Education program in the fall 2007 semester.
| What's New About the Program? |
- The courses for the Master of Education (MEd) will all be named EDTC.
Please refer to the Study Plan for a cross-walk between the current courses to the new course names and numbers. You will need to use the new names and numbers to register starting with the fall 2007 semester.
- New Course! A new course was added to the curriculum beginning in fall 2007. EDTC 650 Special Topics in Instructional Technology will be required of all MEd students.
Topics within EDTC 650 will rotate
- One topic, "Developing Advanced Instructional Multimedia for the K-12 Classroom", will first be offered in fall 2007
- Another topic, "Teaching and Learning in the K-12 Virtual School," will first be offered in spring 2008.
- Course descriptions for EDTC 645 and EDTC 650 will be available online or though the department. Note that students may take EDTC 650 Special Topics in Instructional Technology only once.
- New Dual Degree Option!
