Some course names and numbers have changed. You will need to use the new names and numbers—as listed in the Study Plan(s)—to register in the fall 2007 semester and beyond.

ou only need to use the new course names and numbers as indicated in your Study Plan. However, if you are currently in the MS in information technology program, you may find your existing coursework aligns with one of the new specializations. Please review the Study Plans for a side-by-side comparison.

New Requirements (Fall 2007)

  • New! Eight Specializations
    Students beginning the program in fall 2007 must select one of the following eight specializations and take the corresponding seven 3-credit courses (21 credits):
    • Database Systems Technology
    • E-Business
    • Homeland Security Management
    • Informatics
    • Information Assurance
    • Project Management
    • Software Engineering
    • Telecommunications Management
