Email Assistance: How Do I Create a New Calendar In Outlook 2010?

In Outlook you can create new calendars which can be used to organize event, training sessions or whatever else you would like. These calendars will be separate from your main calendar so everything will not be on one calendar but you can turn these calendars on or off at any time.

Step 1
First open Outlook. This can be done a couple of ways but the fastest way would be to double click on the Outlook icon that is on your desktop.
If you do not have an icon on your desktop please click the Start button and then go to All Programs. Locate the Microsoft Office folder and click it. Outlook should be listed there.
Step 2
If you have more than one profile in Outlook, please choose your Google Apps profile from the list of profiles in the Choose Profile window. Once it has been selected click OK.
Step 3
When Outlook opens up your mail folder list will be on the left (by default). The Navigation buttons will be to the bottom left of the screen. Please click on the Calendar button.
Step 4
This will take you to the Calendar section in Outlook.
Step 5
The Tabs at the top of the page will change and you should now have a Folder tab. Please click that tab to access those options.
Step 6
You will now have the option to create a New Calendar. To do this, click on the New Calendar button.
Step 7
In the Create New Folder window please enter the Name of the calendar and select where to place the calendar. After all the information has been filled out click Ok.
Step 8
Your new calendar will now show up in the My Calendar list (by default).
