TK20: How Do I Attach Artifacts to an Assignment/Project?

Note: Both assignments and projects will work in the same manner. The information and images on this page will reflect the Assignment section, but everything will apply to the Project section as well.

In order to complete the assignment or projects, you will need to attach appropriate artifacts to the Attach Artifacts sub-tab. 

To attach an artifact to the Attach Artifacts sub-tab of an assignment or project:

Step 1

In the Attach Artifacts sub-tab, click the add new button in the upper left-hand corner of the Attach Artifacts box.

Step 2

Select an appropriate artifact type from the drop-down menu, or select View All from the drop-down menu to view all artifact types at once. To select the appropriate artifact(s), check the box(es) to the left of the artifact name(s), and click the Add button below the row of checkboxes.

Step 3

Click the Assessment sub-tab of the assignment to see the rubric(s) which will be used to evaluate the assignment.

Step 4

Once you are finished with the assignment, click the Submit button to submit the assignment for assessment.

Notes:

The Extensions sub-tab of the assignment will show details on any extensions on the due date issued by the course instructor.

The Feedback sub-tab will show the results of any feedback received on the assignment.

To save your work up to any point while you are working on an assignment or project, you can click the Save button at the bottom of any sub-tab screen. Once you have saved the assignment or project, you will be able to return to it later.

To cancel all the work that you have done in the current session, click the Cancel button. Any work that you have previously saved related to this assignment or project will remain saved. Once you are finished with the assignment, click the Submit button to submit the assignment for assessment.
