LEO: How Do I - Add Groups and/or Sections to a Calendar Event

If you have more than one group participating in the same course event during different time intervals, you can create multiple instances of the same event, tailored to each group's needs. The group events share the name and description fields, but once you finish creating the group events in bulk, they display as individual events.
The following article will explain how to add groups and/orsections to a calender Event

Step 1

On the Course Home page, click on Calendar.

Step 2

In the calendar menu, click on Create Event.

Step 3

In the Attendees section, select the group you would like to customize an instance of the event for.

Click Add Groups/Sections

Step 4

In the Add Groups page, select a group.

Step 5

Fill in the details for the event.

Step 6

Click Create.

NOTE: This option will only be available if you have already created a group for your course.
