LEO: How Do I - Add an Assessment to a Topic (Faculty)

  1. From the Course Home page, click DiscussionsNote: You may be required to click the My Tools drop down menu to select Discussions
  2. Click the drop down arrow next to the discussion topic you want to edit and click Edit Topic
  3. Click on the Assessment tab. 
  4. Select a Grade Item from the drop down menu or click New Grad Item
  5. Enter a number in the In the Score Out of box.
  6. If you want to allow instructors to assess posts in the topic, click the check box next to Allow assessment of individual posts and then select a calculation method from the drop down menu. 
  7. Click Save and CloseSave and New, or Save
