LEO: How Do I - Grade Discussion Topics (Faculty)

Step 1: Click My Tools on the course navigation bar and then click Grades from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: On the next screen, select Enter Grades.

Step 3: Click the drop-down menu for a Discussion topic and then select Grade All.

Step 4: Choose one of the following grading methods:
  • If the Discussion is associated with a rubric, select an icon on the Assessment column for each student who has posted to the topic.

  • If the Discussion is not associated with a rubric, select the icon in the Submitted column for each student who has posted to the topic.

Step 5: The student’s post will appear on the next screen. Enter a grade and provide (optional) feedback.

Step 6: When you are finished grading the topic, select Published so that BOTH the grade and feedback will be added to the Gradebook.

Step 7: Click Save.
