Registration: Start Dates and Registration Deadlines for Online, Hybrid, and On-Site Courses

Online Course: Students must register at least five days before the start of the online course.
Example: An online session begins on Monday, January 14. You can register until Wednesday, January 9, at 11:59 p.m. (eastern time).

Hybrid Courses (Defined as having both online and on-site components): Students must register one day before the calendar start date. For example, you can register until Sunday, January 13, at 11:59 p.m. (eastern time) for a hybrid session that runs from Monday, January 14, through Sunday, March 10.

On-site Courses: Students must register before the start of the first class meeting.

Note: All on-site graduate courses are considered to have an online component, regardless of whether they are designated as a hybrid class; therefore, all on-site graduate courses follow the deadlines for hybrid courses.

Register for courses online through MyUMUC or visit a UMUC location—such as the Academic Center at Largo—to register in-person. Visit the Course Registration page for more information about registering for classes and important dates for the academic year, including session start dates, registration deadlines, and holidays.
