Graduate School: What are the requirements for completing a graduate degree program?

To graduate with a Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree from the Graduate School, students must:
  • Successfully complete the required number of credit hours and other requirements as prescribed by the specific program curriculum (Graduate Programs typically have about 36-48 credit hours, depending on the program of study)
  • A combined 3.0 GPA in all Graduate School courses
    • Master's students may not apply a grade of F toward degree requirements
    • Doctoral students may not apply a grade of C or lower toward degree requirements
