After you register for your courses, complete the VA Certification form in MyUMUC.
- Go to Veteran Certification in MyUMUC.
- Select the semester you wish to certify.
- Click Complete Request Form.
- Complete the form.
- Click the Submit Request button.
If you are using the Chapter 33 Post 9/11 or the Chapter 31 Vocational Rehabilitation, the University of Maryland University College will place a notice on your account indicating that you are expecting the US Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) to pay for your classes so you will not be disenrolled for non-payment.
For all chapters other than the Chapter 33 Post 9/11 or the Chapter 31 Vocational Rehabilitation, you will be paid directly by the US Department of Veterans Affairs and will, therefore, need to submit payment to the University of Maryland University College for your classes immediately.
