2001 Annual Information Report


University of Maryland University College ("UMUC") is providing this Annual Information Report ("the Report") for the information of its faculty, staff and students pursuant to Department of Education Regulations. The Report is organized into three sections:
  1. Campus Crime and Security (189K)
  2. Notification of Rights Under FERPA for Postsecondary Institutions (8K), and
  3. Faculty, Staff and Student Responsibilities Regarding Drug and Alcohol Abuse (72K).

The first section lists UMUC’s security policies as well as statistics on reported crimes for the last three calendar years. The second section provides notification of student’s rights under the Family Educational and Rights Privacy Act regarding their educational records. The third and final section provides information to current and prospective faculty, staff and students regarding drug and alcohol abuse. This section includes information on the standards of conduct, University and legal sanctions, health risks, and resources for education and counseling.
