Stateside ID Cards

UMUC Stateside Students

• Please print out your UMUC student ID card from the MyUMUC Portal. You will need a UMUC ID card to access library services, computer labs, and campus transportation. If you visit a University System of Maryland and affiliated institutions USMAI library in person, you must present your printed UMUC student ID card along with a driver's license or other photo ID to borrow library materials.
  
  
• ID cards will be available for you to print seven days prior to the start of your classes. To print your student ID card, log in to MyUMUC, choose Student Portal, select MyInfo, and click on My UMUC ID Card.
  
  
• ID cards are valid for one semester only.

UMUC Stateside Faculty

New UMUC faculty will be mailed plastic ID cards with barcodes directly printed on them. The cards should be received before or during the first week of class.

UMUC Stateside Employees

New UMUC staff members will be issued laminated ID cards with an affixed barcode label. If you are a student and also an employee, the barcode on your new student ID card should be identical to the one on your employee ID card. You will be able to use either card to check out books from USMAI libraries.
