Faculty & DM Students:
Submit a Paper for Consideration for UMUC's Working Papers Series!
What is a working paper?
Working papers - sometimes called "discussion papers" - are manuscripts that have not been accepted for publication. The paper may be a draft that you would like to send to colleagues in order to solicit comments or feedback, or it may be a paper that you have presented or plan to present at a conference or seminar, or one that you have submitted for publication to a journal but has not (yet) been accepted.
The UMUC Working Paper Committee is soliciting working papers from UMUC Faculty and Doctoral Students. The Committee is comprised of: Jay Liebowitz, Rhonda Jones, Jim Chen, Bryan Booth, and Darlene Smucny.
How do I submit my paper?
Kindly submit your working paper, using the style guidelines, to Jay Liebowitz, Orkand Chair, at jliebowitz@umuc.edu. If you have any questions, kindly contact Jay Liebowitz. The deadline for submission is: November 1, 2009.
After receipt of your working paper, the Committee will provide comments and its recommendations by December 15, 2009. The Committee looks forward to receiving your submission.
