Live overseas?
Your class has started but your registration has not yet shown up in MyUMUC? Request access.
Getting an Invalid Authorization message or having trouble logging in? Here are some things to check:
- Check your last name in MyUMUC.
You need to enter your last name the way it appears in the MyUMUC Portal (for example, Smith Jones).
- Need your barcode number or EMPLID?
Here is how to look them up.
- When does your class or employment begin?
- Students: Your login will be activated one week before class begins.
- Faculty: Your login will be activated four weeks before class begins.
- Staff: Your login will be activated when you begin employment.
- Alumni: Please see the options for alumni.
- Others: Please see the options for those
not currently affiliated with UMUC.
- Check your browser settings.
Run this Quick Check to make sure that your browser has cookies, Javascript, and SSL enabled.
- Clear your browser's stored passwords.
These can sometimes interfere with logins.
Still can't log in?
Request access and a library staff member will check to make sure you are in the system.
