Getting an Invalid Authorization message or an indication that your last name or ID are incorrect? Here are possible reasons:
- Could be a typo.
Please try entering your information again just to be sure.
- Need your barcode number?
Here's how to look
up your barcode.
- Your last name may differ slightly in our system.
You need
to enter your last name the way it appears in the MyUMUC Portal (for example, Smith Jones).
- What is your status this semester?
Only currently teaching faculty, currently enrolled students and current
employees can have remote access to the library databases.
If you are planning
to take a course, teach or work at UMUC, please note:
- Students: Your access will be activated one
week before class begins.
- Faculty: Your access will be activated four
weeks before class begins.
- Staff: Your access will be activated
when you begin employment.
- Alumni: Please see the options for alumni.
- Others: Please see the options for those
not currently affiliated with UMUC.
- Your browser may be trying to use a previously stored password.
Can't log in even though you have typed your name and ID correctly? Try clearing your browser's saved passwords.
