NetLibrary Technical Issues
Having page display or navigation problems?
In some cases when you try to view an e-book, you will click on a link in the Table of Contents but the content won't display properly.
- Make sure that you have Adobe Reader installed.
Do you see a page which says "Congratulations"? If yes, then you have Adobe installed. If not, then Get Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Make sure that Adobe is set to "Display PDF in browser."
When you clicked a link in the table of contents of a NetLibrary book, if the page popped open in separate window (instead of within the NetLibrary window), please do the following:
- Go to Start Menu > Programs > Adobe Reader.
- In Adobe, click on Preferences.
- In the Preferences menu, click on Internet, and then check the box to Display PDF in browser.

- Click OK.
- Go to Start Menu > Programs > Adobe Reader.
- Make sure that you have cookies and JavaScript enabled.
- Check your privacy and spam killer settings.
If you still cannot view the pages, then try temporarily disabling the privacy and spam killer features on your computer's security software. (Do NOT disable the firewall or anti-virus protection.) These sometimes interfere with the ability of NetLibrary to display content.
Macintosh User?
Please see Macintosh Information about downloading and installing the Schubert PDF Browser Plugin.
Need the DjVu reader plug-in?
Some e-books require you to download and install the DjVu reader plug-in. These are indicated by a DjVu icon. Get the DjVu plugin.
