Resources at McKeldin Library Brochure
UMUC students can use the McKeldin Library on the College Park campus any time during regular library hours. See our brochure about resources available to UMUC students at University of Maryland College Park (UMCP) libraries. Resources include:
- Guest accounts for using the public computers
UMUC students, faculty and staff will need to register for a guest account to use the public computers. Present a photo ID and your UMUC ID card at the circulation desk during McKeldin Library hours to register for an account with an expiration of 180 days. (Without your UMUC ID card, your account will expire in 30 days.) Accounts will not be created during Late Night Study periods.
- Wireless access via Eduroam
Wireless access is available to UMUC students at the University of Maryland, College Park and other academic institutions that participate in the Eduroam network.
- Late Night Study Access Cards
UMUC students can also use McKeldin Library during the Late Night Study hours from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. You must show your Late Night Study Access Card with an acceptable photo ID to remain in the building after 11p.m. In addition if you need to enter the area after 11 p.m. or depart and return after 11 p.m., you will need a Late Night Study Access Card to gain access to the building.
