Requests and Renewals: My Account
To view a list of items that you have borrowed and/or for which you have
placed requests, you will use a feature called my account. With
this feature, you will be able to manage activities in your account including
renewing items, checking on the status of requested items, or deleting
requests. This is also where you will receive messages regarding problems
with your account. Note: my account is available
only to currently registered stateside students, faculty and staff.
To access your account, click on the my account link from the menu
above the yellow bar. You will be prompted to sign in with your barcode
and last name. Note that you also have the option to sign in from the
main menu. Once you sign in, you can request items and check your account
without being prompted to sign in again, unless your session has timed
out.

Note: the system only accepts a barcode, not a Social Security
Number.
To sign in,
- Enter your barcode number. (Your barcode number is located on the
back of your UMUC ID card).
- Enter your last name.
- Click on the sign in button.
You will then be taken to your account, where you can manage the activities
in your account. Proceed to the next section for details on the activities
available in my account.
